Our room leader in the Pre-school room and deputy manager holds a degree in Early Years Education and is continuing her studying with a masters degree in psychology specialising in Education, she overlooks all the children’s education and learning in the setting, leading to better outcomes for the children.
All of the practitioners at Tiny Toes continue their professional development by attending courses to help stay up to date with present regulations and taking on roles within the setting to feedback to other professionals and parents. All our staff either hold a relevant qualification or are working towards one in childcare and education.
To enable us to keep children safe all qualified staff are required to participate a pediatric first aid course within 3 months of employment to be counted in ratio. This enables all staff working within our setting to have the knowledge and ability to handle first aid situations appropriately.
Staff also are required to be introduced to the setting by having frequent introduction meetings where they can express what training they would like to specialise in enabling them to become better Practitioners.
